Unfortunately, many legacy text programs save subscriber lists in rich-text format. Converting these files often feels overwhelming for everyday users without technical training.
How to Convert RTF to CSV Using Microsoft Word #
If your rich-text file contains a clean, straightforward list of emails, the conversion process is incredibly simple. You can complete the transition easily using Microsoft Word.
- Format your document: Open your RTF file in Microsoft Word. Ensure each line contains exactly one email address.
- Export the data: Click the Save As menu option.
- Change the file type: Select Plain Text (*.txt) from the available format dropdown list.
Once saved, this plain text file functions identically to a single-column CSV database. Consequently, you can upload this newly created text file directly to MailboxValidator for immediate bulk verification.
Important Limitation: If your original rich-text file contains complex tables or jumbled data, this basic method will not work.
